Beyond clinical practice, Lillian is committed to improving the future of healthcare through consumer advocacy, research and systems change.

Advocacy and  Advisory Roles

She is a Consumer Advocate for the NEW1000 Study, one of Australia's largest pregnancy and early life research initiatives, where she works alongside researchers, clinicians and families to ensure lived experience informs research, policy and the future of maternal and infant healthcare.

Lillian also serves as a Consumer Representative for the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD), contributing to the design and improvement of local health services. She is passionate about ensuring that the voices of patients and families are represented in healthcare decision-making and that services are compassionate, evidence-based and responsive to the needs of the community.

These roles reflect Lillian's belief that meaningful change happens not only in the therapy room, but also through influencing the systems that support people throughout their lives.
