Director and Founder of The Millennial Psychologist

Lillian Snellenburg is a registered psychologist, writer, and the founder of The Millennial Psychologist, a contemporary, trauma-informed practice offering integrative care for adolescents and adults.

Lillian works at the crossroads of psychology, neuroscience, and soul blending modern evidence-based therapies with a deeply intuitive, body-aware approach. Her style is gentle yet intelligent; spacious yet structured. Clients are met with both warmth and precision as they navigate life’s thresholds from adolescence to adulthood, motherhood to loss, burnout to redefinition.

She is especially passionate about working with anxiety, identity, sexual wellbeing, relational dynamics, ADHD, women’s health, grief and loss. Lillian also has a strong clinical focus on chronic illness and medical trauma and holding space for those whose bodies have been dismissed, pathologised, or profoundly altered. She offers a therapy style that is both validating and empowering, rooted in the belief that healing requires safety, agency, and connection.

Lillian draws from contemporary frameworks including CBT, ACT, polyvagal theory, attachment science, schema therapy and somatic psychology. Her work is deeply informed by the nervous system, neuroplasticity, and the body’s natural capacity to heal when truly listened to.

Whether she’s supporting a teenager in distress, someone grieving a loss or shift in identity, or an individual living with chronic or terminal health conditions, Lillian offers more than symptom management; she offers reclamation. A return to the self, the body, and the knowing that wholeness was never lost.
